I love the vid... the dancing was great but the moves and shimmying definitely lends to the Ne-Yo (or definitely those two guys) is gay theory! LOL! But neither here nor there, the video was really good and well choreographed! Great job Ne-Yo! I'm enjoying the movie/episodic train of vids for this new album!

OMG! Not only was this commercial HILARIOUS and was a great parody of eyelash commercials, but the side effect segment was EPIC! LOL! I had to watch it TWICE! Great video! Check it out!

This is one of my FAVE songs! And definitely one of my fave videos out right now! This is what hip-hop and lyricism is ALL ABOUT! Joell is undoubtedly one of the Top 5 rappers out RIGHT NOW! Plus he is in the group, Slaughterhouse, The HOTTEST rap group in the game today! Definitely check out his mixtapes and all the work he has done in the industry! Joell Ortiz is one to watch!

Take THAT Trey Songz.... OK, maybe I just went TO FAR! BUT, I must say, THIS SONG, THIS SONG RIGHT HERE! THIS SONG RIGHT HERE Nnnn! Its THAT DEAL! I heard it a few days ago and was THOROUGHLY and UTTERLY impressed and felt like R. Kelly was doing his thing like he ALWAYS DOES... but its like he just stepped the R&B game BACK UP again! Its a classic love ballad, by only which R. Kelly can put it down these days! His voice is amazing and soulful! It tunnels its way into your heart, then JUMPS right back out! No doubt, one of his most beautiful in the past 2 or 3 years! ...
Review Break ... Sorry for all the CAPS folks, but DAMN, my big homie Kellz always brings the excitement back to R&B! Ok, back to your regularly scheduled music review!
Anyway, the video feels like a classic mix of vocal exhibitionism with a little old school class thrown in to make it top notch! I can't say it's better than Kanye's Power video, or groundbreaking by any stretch, but I must say, R. Kelly doesn't usually let us down when it comes to the videos! He usually comes with something innovative, or classy, or different ... or whatever! It always makes you want more!
Anyway, I can't wait to see what else Kelly has in store for us! I am sure it will be EPIC!

FIRST & FOREMOST, I must say... (in my best Kanye impression) "GODDAMN KANYE"!!!
This “video” (or as 'YE calls it, this PORTRAIT) was VERY artistic, very creative and better than most of the stuff being “filmed” by lesser artists! I respect Usher (some of his movie-like vids), Jay-Z (his newer vids), Ne-Yo and now, Kanye for doing something different. For those who don’t understand, try to look BEYOND the BS that other artists continue to regurgitate in their vids (that SAME damn room, in that SAME DAMN mansion, that EVERYBODY keeps renting and having FAKE ASS parties in, that have NOTHING to do w/ the song)! I’m sure some of you are still waiting on another “Tip Drill” style vid! That’s OK, to each their own! But for this genre to be what it WAS, you have to break the rules ANY and EVERY TIME you get a chance! Vids like this prove that Hip-Hop is NOT DEAD (… yet, if we keep letting “Waka Flocka’s” in! SMDH!)
So I'm on YouTube today, and notice a different logo, and a "02 days" indicator! So of course, that peeks my interest and I click it. Soon, I discover, what I think is, the GREATEST human experiment to ever be conceived! An experiment such as this has been conjured up and even done in the past... but at a MUCH SMALLER scale! I am not sure of the current membership numbers, however I am sure that there are MILLIONS upon millions of YouTube members! Thus you have millions of potential "co-directors" for this joint, film venture from YouTube, LG, producer Ridley Scott and director Kevin MacDonald!
As the video above shows, the Life In A Day team are looking for YOU, everyday people to film their lives on July 24th 2010! It can be a clip, several moments or a mini-documentary! Do whatever's clever! Then between now and in January, the LIAD team will pick videos and clips to include in the movie they will show at Sundance in January 2011! This huge, not just because we will see some new reality stars emerge from this... but because this "Time Capsule" as it were, will be an AMAZING glimpse, into the day in the life, of ... well, everyone! It is commendable that they will include clips from ALL OVER THE WORLD, thus accommodating MANY different languages, social, religious and cultural views from anyone willing to participate!
So, go over to YouTube's Life In A Day channel (http://youtube.com/lifeinaday) and check out the details and rules! I can't wait to see a day in YOUR life!

This video is a MUST-SEE for all people, young & old! It is essential to understand where you have been before you can understand where you are going. And this video puts A LOT into perspective as to where our Black youth may be going if they do not wake up. Everyone needs to take heed to the message in this video and fully understand the repurcussions of their actions (and in-action). Make sure your sons, daughters, cousins, friends, whoever see this. It is a VERY POWERFUL message, is graphic, but not any worse than the videos and movies you are probably already watching on a regular basis anyway. The message is to powerful to ignore!
A filmmaker and public speaker, Reggie Bullock is a vibrant voice and accomplished role model for the youth of today. On March 15, 2009, Reggie’s short film "A War For Your Soul" was independently released on the internet, and has catapulted as a “stirring, epic and inspirational” video for today’s generation”. Over 2.5 million internet viewers have watched “A War For Your Soul” in nine months. The video has garnered praise from mayors, city leaders, youth and civic organizations from Ghana, Israel, the Caribbean, U.K. and other countries for sparking dialogue in encouraging adults to play a more active role in educating children. On Oct. 14th, Popular radio host Michael Baisden said "This is a must see film".Reggie is currently active as a noted speaker, conducting speaking engagements throughout the country. For speaking engagements contact warforyoursoul.com or reggie.bullock@comcast.net This video was created to inspire young at-risk African-Americans not to fall prey to some of the problems they face in society. The "Master of Darkness" represents that abstract concept of evil that has the potential to reside in the consciousness of mankind. The use of the images of Richard Pryor and NAS, were used to show how we have publicly displayed the "N" word over the course of time. Richard Pryor, before his death, had gone on record to publicly denounce his use of the word, and the Rapper NAS ( one of the few socially conscious rappers ) intentions of wearing the jacket had nothing to do with the glorification of the word. I have enjoyed some of Pryor's masterful story telling and I have also enjoyed some of the thought provoking music from NAS.This video should not to be used to divide people (Black & White). This video should not be used to criticize all aspects of hip-hop culture. This video should not be used to allow the rest of society to escape from their responsibility, to help with financial & academic support. If used properly, this video will allow our youth to see some of the horrific conditions that their ancestors fought through and some of the horrific conditions they face today. An extensive commentary about the film can be seen at warforyoursoul.com**THIS VIDEO IS NOT FOR SALE & I AM NOT ACCEPTING DONATIONS FOR THE FILM, I ONLY WANT THE MESSAGE TO REACH AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT ANY HIDDEN POLITICAL OR FINANCIAL AGENDA.Contacts: warforyoursoul.com reggie.bullock@comcast.net facebook.com/reggie.bullock twitter.com/ReggieBullock
PLEASURE ELLIS took me by surprise. I got a "FOLLOW" on Twitter (follow him at http://twitter.com/pleasureellis or @pleasureellis) from this young R&B artist the other day, but what took me by surprise was not only that he follows just as many people that follow him, but he also does a great job at replying and interacting with his fanbase! I think that is commendable in this social networking world we live in today, because most artists and celebs miss that point. You really have to interact to keep a finger on the pulse of the people! Anyway, that prompted me to take interest (score another great job for the Pleasure Ellis marketing team! LOL!) and I decided to check out his website and blog. I was able to view one of his videos and get a sample of the music Pleasure Ellis plans to bring to the R&B game.
I enjoyed the video; Pleasure really has a lot of energy, and really puts his emotions into the song! I get kind of an old school feel from the video cinematography, but it works. I am actually glad to see that the video was not another cookie cutter redo of all the other R&B vids you see these days. And Mr. Ellis is definitely NOT a cookie cutter R&B singer! I am interested in seeing and hearing more from Pleasure Ellis! Great Job!
