Twit-Bookin on STLYEZ in the Bahamas! How You Love That! HOLLA!

STLYEZ just became a WorldWide Traveler! Five nights in the Bahamas is NEVER enough! Can’t wait to go back for more!

 

 

That’s right folks, ya boy Stylez is back from the Bahamas! HAD A BLAST!!! There was so much to do… on the ship… on the islands… in the cabin!!! ;) It was one adventure after the other! I began the journey by taking a quick flight to Jacksonville Florida with my lovely wife, Alexis. It was uneventful, but I was excited to be getting my vacation started! After arriving in Jacksonville, we took a shuttle to the ship, the Carnival Fascination, and boy did the excitement really kick up when I saw that big beautiful ship waiting on us!

 

 

After we waited in a super long line to get checked in and get the key to our cabin, we got to board the boat and get settled in! It was amazing! Now mind you, the Fascination is not one of their larger boats, but it was HUGE! There were 2 pools, 3 whirlpools, 3 nightclubs, about 4 or 5  bars, 2 dining rooms, a couple buffets and a casino! Plus all the fruit-flavored, umbrella-covered cocktails you could drink! All designed to make sure everyone had a great time!

OK, so this time it was only Lemonade, but I had to have a umbrella on EVERYTHING! LOL!

 

Well, after finding our rooms, and NOT having any luggage (since they were still inspecting it all and delivering it to the rooms), my boy Law and I decided to explore the ship! We soon discovered the coolest part of the ship… the Lido Deck buffets and restaurants! It was great! Almost any time of the day, you could get a variety of food, chill on the deck, or on the balcony, or go inside to hide from the sun or rain! We spent a lot of time on Lido deck throughout the trip!

 

 

The fun and excitement continued to escalate as we discovered lots of on ship activities, bars, and the casino. Then after a couple nights on the sea, we arrived at Carnival’s private island, Half Moon Cay (locals pronounce CAY as KEY). It was a really nice island, fully and exclusively dedicated to the guests of Carnival Fascination! This is the day Alexis and I did our first excursions, Jet-Skiing (aka AquaTraxx) and Snorkeling! The AquaTraxx was an awesome and exhilarating experience! I have definitely never experienced anything like it before! And the snorkeling capped off a great day that was full of fun at the beach, lunch in grass huts and of course warm and sunny weather!

We spent another night at sea, laughing, eating, drinking, partying, and just enjoying everything Carnival had to offer! Including dancing and singing waiters! LOL!

We had great dinner company with Law and Nicole; plus a group of people who were the epitome of Southern Hospitality; and a couple from Russia (or Ukraine?) who met on the internet and had been married for about a year! They were all a GREAT bunch of folks who really spiced up our dinnertimes! We will definitely miss them and hopefully see them on a future cruise!

Some of us also needed to rest up for our 2^nd excursion day! LMAO!

 

Good thing I rested up because day 3 was another busy day full of shopping, swimming at the beach, hanging with the locals, aquarium tours and even a great couples massage at the legendary Mandara Spa in the Atlantis Hotel & Resort!

Well, as with all great vacations, the end came much too soon! But after being out of communication with the real world for over 5 days, we were ready to get home and see our children! But in all it was an AMAZING vacation that we are looking forward to doing again real soon! We had a great time, made great friends, seen amazing things, had new adventures and all around had the time of our lives! If you can do it, make your next vacation a Carnival Cruise, you won’t regret it!

Twit-Bookin #1000 to Robert Alexander & Anthony Alls! RIP! UnDisputed 4EVER!

Two Young Lives STOLEN From Their Families, Their Communities, The World! We Will Miss You!

As many of you know, I recently attended the funeral of Robert Alexander! He was celebrating his 33^rd birthday with some friends, and was brutally injured in an altercation at the club. Robert unfortunately died from his injuries, leaving his family, his business, his friends, and his community devastated! He was a young, successful, peace-loving, ambitious individual who will be forever missed for his determination, wisdom and friendship!

Well a few hours ago, I was given the shocking news that Robert’s best friend, brother, and 2^nd half of the rap group UnDisputed, Anthony Alls was also brutally murdered; reportedly gunned down while leaving the barbershop! Full details and motive of Anthony’s death is at this time unknown; of course speculations abound; but I don’t want to go into that at this time! I just want to remember two good brothers, who were taken from us much too early!

I first met the group, UnDisputed, while working with Nu-House Records. Everyone knew the group members as King Baloo (Robert) and Nomad (Anthony)! Both of these brothers were already popular in their neighborhood and very much loved. At the time, I knew they would be successful in whatever they did, be it with Nu-House, or whatever else they wanted to do! My first assignment with UnDisputed was to give them a portfolio of pictures to choose from for their promo packages. I met them at my makeshift studio on the west side of Detroit. I didn’t really know what to expect, or even know what we would be able to accomplish since they were one of the first rap groups I had worked with as a photography! But believe me, these brothers had it together! They knew what they were looking to do, how they wanted to do it, what image they wanted to portray and they just took over the photo shoot! It made my job that much easier, and we had a great time, making a great portfolio and eventually designing their first album and single covers.

After some years of trying to make it big in the music business, the original artists of Nu-House eventually disbanded and unfortunately most of us lost contact over the past 3 to 5 years. But of course at some point or another we would run into one another. I was blessed with the chance to run into UnDisputed while hanging out at a club in Detroit! They were having a great time, I noticed Robert, and when I saw Anthony, I immediately knew we had a Nu-House reunion going on! After walking out of the club, promising to see each other soon, I just knew I would see them again. Unfortunately, that next time was at Robert’s funeral! After the funeral, I shook hands with Anthony, gave him a hug, and told him that everything would be alright, and we just had to remember the good times! He told me that he appreciated that, and that he wished that we didn’t have to reunite the Nu-House family because of tragedy. Well, once again, due to tragedy, our Nu-House family will be reuniting again to mourn the loss, but celebrate the life of anther fallen friend. It hurts my heart to see good people senselessly lose their lives. Especially when it doesn’t have to end this way. I don’t know why people no longer have respect for life out here in these streets, but I do know that we all need to reach out to our GOD. No matter what God you praise, be it Jehovah, Allah, Buddha, whoever, just get your faith up and start living it! This life is not waiting on anyone. We all have to get it together now, because tomorrow is never promised. Tell those around you, and not around you that you love them. Hug everybody, make them know you care, and never miss a chance to spend time with those you care about. Because the next you see them, or they see you, may not be the way you want! Well, once again, RIP to my friends, UnDisputed, you will forever be in my heart and my memories! See you on the other side! HOLLA!

Twit-Bookin good days!

Well, I am at home from work, got back pretty early, around 6PM! It was a pretty busy day, but nothing ya boy Stylez can't handle! So, what are you up too? I'm still mad cuz my sister, Edna (aka Leanbac Bfore-u Falbac) deleted her Facebook page! Some idiots ran her off! But that's ok, I started a new group dedicated to bringing her back to FB! So make sure you check it out, and rep Ms. Leanbac! I just worked out too. My wife worked out without me, she did some Leslie Sansone, PowerWalk @ Home! So I had to get down with the get down and do some Arms, Legs and Abs (I do Abs everytime)! Anyway, I am sittin here @ 1AM writing this, about to go to bed, but I needed to listen to some music! So I got my Twit-Bookin ON, found some HOT tracks, and queued them up! Make sure you look for those! Anyway, I better get back to the music, and then get me some rest!
